Brian is a founding member of this exciting new big band. Featuring the best of LA's younger generation of players, this band is poised to continue and expand on the Los Angeles big band tradition. All of the group's material is written by members of the band, making it very unique among younger bands. Entering its second year, expect to hear a lot more from this group.

Jimmy Emerzian is a Fresno native now working in Los Angeles. His tenor style is as wide ranging as his influences, which includes everything from Lennie Tristano to Dexter Gordon. He is also a member of the Elliot Deutsch Big Band, in addition to performing as a leader and teaching at California State University, Long Beach.

Walter Simonsen is one of LA's finest young lead trumpet players. He's played everything from Top 40 to salsa to small group jazz. He is currently a DMA candidate at the University of Southern California.

Featured on Brian's debut album Unmei is multi-instrumentalist Jay Thomas. Jay has been a mainstay of Seattle's music scene for over twenty years.

Phil is one of Seattle's finest drummers. He can lay down groove in mixed meters better than anyone else while still playing with sensitivity.

One of Los Angeles's great singers in addition to an accomplished bassist. Kristin Korb is on a schedule of constant touring and recording, in addition to being on faculty at the University of Southern California.
